AVE expands its IP video intercom line by introducing a desktop solution designed for access control and communication in residential complexes and professional environments.

The company introduces a new product within the V44-SMART IP video intercom system: VIIP-GUARD, an indoor station specifically developed for concierge operations.

This unit, designed for desktop installation, is the ideal solution for receptions and supervised areas in both residential buildings and commercial facilities. It allows operators to manage entrances (guests and visitors) and enables direct communication with residents.

VIIP-GUARD combines a modern look with an outstanding user experience:

• 10” touch screen display with an intuitive graphical interface, customizable with 4 different themes;
• natural aluminum design that ensures elegance and robustness;
• integrated camera allowing residents to see the concierge operator on their internal monitor during calls.

From the concierge station, it is also possible to:

• monitor IP cameras with 264 protocol connected to the system;
• initiate calls to apartments, displaying in real time the video feed from an IP camera integrated into the system.

The device features a handset to simplify use and guarantee privacy in conversations. It can receive calls from outdoor units connected to the same system and manage SOS emergency alerts sent from TS-SMART monitors installed in apartments.

With day/night mode, when the concierge desk is unattended, calls are automatically forwarded to the apartments.

Setup is plug & play, with quick configuration in just a few steps. Power can be supplied via a 48Vcc PoE switch or a 24Vcc switching power supply. Multiple concierge stations can be installed simultaneously, making it particularly effective for large facilities such as residential complexes or office centers.

A complete IP video intercom ecosystem

The new concierge station integrates seamlessly into the AVE V44-SMART video intercom range, which includes:

• outdoor units for single-family installations or large condominium complexes;
• indoor devices ranging from traditional handsets to TS-SMART monitors with 7”, 10” and 18” LCD touch screens, enabling full control of Smart Home functions, wired home automation, and AVE intrusion detection.
